Sheet metal punching is one of FabriFast's primary services. Rapid processing speeds and lower operating costs can make CNC punching a lower cost solution than laser cutting, depending on part complexity and batch size. In addition, punching machines can create simple formed features such as dimples, louvres, logo indentations and knock-outs, thus avoiding the need for additional operations.
FabriFast CNC punching equipment is capable of punching materials in thicknesses up to 11 gauge and sheet sizes up to 48" x 96". Materials include stainless steel, carbon steel, galvanized steel and aluminium. Computer assisted part nesting allows maximum material utilisation and lower scrap costs.
FabriFast utilizes Amada Vipros Turret Press technology with accurate CNC control and low tooling costs. FabriFast CNC punching offers a flexible and cost effective alternative to dedicated blank tooling.
